Natural landscape like a deluxe jewel – there is no need for further words
Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa. It spreads over the East African highlands, surrounded by the Blue Mountain and Ruwenzori mountain ranges in the west, the volcanic mountain range of Virunga in the south-west and more mountain ranges on its eastern border with Kenya. The majestic mountain ranges will make you sigh: beautiful! There are several very important deluxe lakes in Ugandan territory: Ukerewe (Lake Victoria), Lake Albert or Lake Edward. The beauty of these places cannot be described accurately, you have to visit them. You can enjoy a view of the enormous Lake Victoria, which looks more like a sea, or visit the source of the Nile itself.
Lush green vegetation and mountain gorillas who are “proud giants and the guardians of the mountains”
If you think that Uganda is just a flat piece of parched land, then you are very much mistaken. The southern area in particular is unbelievable green, fresh and lush. It is also the home of unique animals, particularly chimpanzees and the biggest primates in the world – the mountain gorillas. These live in two national parks – Bwindi and Mgahinga. There are over 300 mountain gorillas living in each of these parks, which is a deluxe number. As comparison: there are only 720 individuals living worldwide.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is also worth mentioning and admiring. It is the biggest and best-known national park in Uganda and is the home of over 600 interesting species of bird.
