This will be in fashion
We're about to say goodbye to summer, which means that, once again, it's time to wrap our bodies in coats, knitted sweaters and long pants. But what pieces to choose if you want to go hand in hand with the current trends? Our fashion editorial office looked at the luxury collections of world designers and prepared a selection of the BEST for you.
1. Denim 2020
Say goodbye to denim as you know it. Its younger and new self - bolder, saucier and more spicy, is stealing the spotlight. It's characteristic through its apparent "washed out" look and unconventional details. What models should you go for? Look to brands such as Off-White, Dsquared2, MSGM, Valentino or Gucci for inspiration.
2. Red bomb
The color of the autumn/winter season is definitely red. Instead of avoiding it like the plague, you should introduce this color to your wardrobe. It doesn't matter if you get a red coat, suit or pants; there are no wrong choices. Get inspired by designers Alexander McQueen, Zegna, Ami, Berluti or Givenchy.
3. Artificial fur
Real fur has long been frowned upon, but you're totally free to wear artificial fur as much as you like! The brands Vetements, Dolce & Gabbana or Raf Simons have caught up on this trend and included it in their luxury FW2020/2021 collections. If you think a fur coat might be too much, go for a more conservative alternative. A coat or jacket with a fur collar, as shown by Berluti, Dior and Louis Vuitton.
4. Warm hands
Practical and chic. Gloves definitely shouldn't be missing in a man's wardrobe in the autumn. Not only will this stylish piece of clothing warm you up, but it will also complement and enhance your outfit. Dior, Giorgio Armani and Dries van Noten and other fashion houses all presented velvet or leather models in their fashion shows.
5. A touch of glitter
Glitter, shimmer and glow suddenly aren't reserved only for the ladies. Men can incorporate this trend in their wardrobes just as easily. How about a luxury Dior coat or a stylish Balmain bomber jacket? These pieces are sure to spice up your wardrobe!
6. Leather on your skin
Don't be afraid to dress in leather from head to toe, following the example of Fendi. It's one of the hottest trend these days! Don't worry, an outfit in this style won't be too much! Dunhill and Gucci introduced very stylish leather models at the Fashion Week.
7. Timeless plaid
The ever so popular plaid pattern is back! Coats, pants, jackets? We'll take it all! Our fashion editors fell in love with the gorgeous models from Etro, Dsquared2 and Dolce & Gabbana. Will they win you over too?
