It’s hard to imagine a better name for the state-of-the-art revolutionary parasol – Sunflower reacts to the sun just like the flower it is named after. Its only drawback: it was only recently introduced at the CES 2017 fair and is not yet available to the public!
The luxurious Sunflower represents the first robot-generated shadow on the world; thanks to its sensors, the device can analyze real-time data and follow the sun. At the same time, the solar panels located on its roof collect solar energy which can then be used for other purposes. The energy collected in this way also powers modern technology which make the luxurious sunflower a part of an intelligent home ecosystem.
The Sunflower is electronically connected to the cloud and voice-controlled. In fact, it can even keep track of the weather and provide you the latest weather forecast including information about the amount of UV radiation that’s hitting it. And, to top it all off, it’ll even close itself when there’s too much wind.
Sunflower has an integrated 360° camera to make photos. The battery will last for up to 72 hours without solar energy. Aside from the camera, the gadget is equipped with a light, microphone and speakers. And last but not least, it offers an internet access point to its user.
The luxurious robotic helper designed by ShadeCraft will only become available in the second half of this year, and so you’ll only be able to enjoy it in the summer of 2019.
Dimensions: height – 310 cm, roof – 224 x 234
