Excellent voice artist

He also worked on dubbing and lent his voice to Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie or Rainman. He also dubbed Polish actor Jerzy Stuhr in the film comedy Seximisia. In 2005 he received the František Filipovský Award for his dubbing work in the film Crime in Paradise. In September of this year, he was supposed to receive the Filipovský Award for Lifetime Achievement, which he will be awarded posthumously.

And last but not least, he directed, taught and cared for the Actors' Association, where he served as president since the 1990s. Last year, due to serious health problems, he gave up playing in the show Krejzovi and moderating the popular "Receptář prima nápadů" programme.

Family above all
