Singapore will vaccinate all airline staff for free
Singapore Airlines (SIA) will most likely be the first airline in the world to vaccinate all its employees against COVID-19. It confirmed to CNN that it has reached an agreement with the Singapore government to completely vaccinate all people whose work requires contact with the public. The Pfizer vaccine will be given not only to pilots and flight attendants, but also to all airport staff.
"We are grateful to the Singapore government for making the aviation sector a priority in the country's vaccination exercise. This reflects the sector's importance, and the crucial role we play in Singapore's economic recovery,"
the airline's CEO, Goh Choon Phong, said in a statement.
Large Czech cities are demanding changes in the new building law
The five largest Czech cities, Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Pilsen and Liberec, have jointly published the documentary Four City Articles. It contains basic theses that explain what needs to change in the draft of the new Building Act. The four main requirements are the independence of cities in spatial planning, maintaining the validity of Prague building regulations, the possibility to complete already developed spatial and regulatory plans and greater powers for municipalities.
"The requirements are based on practical experience of municipalities and their professional institutions with the administration and development of cities. We are now finalizing them in the form of a paragraph wording as comprehensive "modules" for selected parts of the proposed law,"
said Petr Hlaváček, 1st Deputy Mayor of the Capital of the City of Prague for spatial planning.
A protester from the Capitol wanted to sell a Democrat's laptop to the Russians
According to an FBI statement, 22-year-old Trump admirer Riley June Williams stole the laptop of 80-year-old American Democratic politician Nancy Pelosi. For the second time in her career since 2019, Pelopsi is the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States. The young protester was convicted through footage from security cameras. The investigation revealed that she had planned to hand over the laptop to her contact in Russia, who wanted to sell it to the Russian government. Everything was pre-planned, and Williams knew exactly where to look for the computer. According to the US secret service, the laptop had either been destroyed, or the young Trumpist had hidden it somewhere. However, for unknown reasons, the planned handover to Russia failed.

Breathtaking lighting installation in a field in the Netherlands
Studio Roosegaarde from Rotterdam, headed by designer Daan Roosegaard, presented a lighting installation covering an area of 20,000 square meters. It was named Grow and is intended to emphasize the beauty of agriculture while improving crop growth. The combination of red, blue and ultraviolet light transformed the field into a dynamic work of art. In addition to creating a visual experience, the installation is intended to demonstrate how a specific combination of lights can improve plant growth and reduce pesticide use by up to 50 percent. The lights activate the plant's defense system and work on all types of crops. Despite its small size, the Netherlands is one of the largest producers of vegetables in the world.
Conor McGregor introduced a limited edition of his whiskey
As soon as this weekend, the most famous MMA wrestler of all time, Conor McGregor, will once again present his skill at the UFC 257 MMA tournament. But his sports career has long ago ceased to be his only source of income. He also launched his own brand of whiskey, Proper No. Twelve. Conor shocked his fans on Instagram by unveiling a limited edition of whiskey bottles. Fans can now buy an original bottle in a stylish green sweatshirt.
