A line-up of star designers, lots of interesting models and enthusiastic spectators. The fashion event of the year - Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week - begins today! Open your player and come take a look with us at what you can look forward to this year and what you definitely shouldn't miss.
Fashion Week is without a doubt the biggest fashion event of the year held in the Czech Republic. All fans of luxury and fashion are already impatiently looking forward to its arrival and we at LP-Life.com are no exception! We've prepared an overview for you of how things will go this year and what you definitely shouldn't miss!
This year's fashion week will be in the 2in1 style, meaning two collections in one week: the autumn FW20 collection in the see-now-buy-now module + a classic presentation of the new spring collections SS21. The designers were free to decide which collection they would present. In addition, for the very first time, there will be two separate stages instead of one. We definitely have a lot to look forward to!
When and where?
The Fashion Week will take place from 4 to 11 September in Prague, in the unique premises of Gabriel Loci - the Monastery of St. Gabriel at Holečkova 10, Prague 5. The collections will be presented on the main Mercedes-Benz stage and also on the Zalando stage, which has been adapted for those creators who chose to pair the presentation of their collections with creative digital visualization.
What you're in for
Jakub Polanka, Jiří Kalfař, Petra Balvínová with the brand TIQE and other regulars will present their collections this year again. Designers such as Denisa Dovalová or Pavol Dendis, on the other hand, will introduce themselves for the very first time. And you can also look forward to fashion shows of Jan Černý, Daniela Pešková, Michael Kováčik or Tereza Vu. New collections of Pietro Filipi, Vanda Janda or Ether won't be missing either!
