Nearly 20 minutes of luxury fun was provided by the Balmain fashion house to its guests during the Paris Fashion Week. The fashion show was accompanied from the very beginning by tremendous inflow of energy. The show was opened up by the song Every You Every Me from the British group, Placebo, and a line of black-and-white outfit. It was a feast for the eyes!
If ever Olivier Rousteing decides to leave the post of Balmain´s creative director, is will be very difficult for the French brand to find a suitable successor. This young talent creates original pieces, stylish, slightly extravagant and yet, in most cases, wearable. Every model contains a certain signature element and so it applies that if you wear something from Balmain, probably every expert on luxury fashion will notice it at first glance.
The latest collection FW 2019/2020 is carried in the spirit of neutral tones, dominated by black and white, accompanied by grey and immortal denim. In addition to loose tops, evening wear vests and perfectly tailor-made jackets, the collection also includes stylish accessories. During the next season it will apply that the most stunning look is one consisting of stylish sun glasses, a neat head coving and a small practical bag over the shoulder.
In addition, you cannot go wrong if you put over your shoulders a jacket made of half denim and half luxurious leather. If you want to awaken the rebel in you, you cannot find a better piece in the FW 2019/2020 collection. Trendy too, will be bold patterns, checks, stripes or high-shine materials.

The Paris Fashion Week once again offers only the best of the best. This time round, we will take a closer look at the men's collection of FW 2019/2010, by my favourite Balmain fashion house. For all those who are still hesitant when pronouncing this word: it is not 'balmejn", but "balman". But that is just by the way, now let´s have a look at what did the collection actually bring.
Olivier Rousteing to me always ranked among innovative pioneers with love of attention to detail. However, this collection to me seems like not quite hitting the mark. At the moment when you were expecting yet another great "hit" from Olivier, anything less will simply disappoint you. And that´s what happened to me!
Firstly: why only why do those models look so feminine? The combination of sweaters and shirts looks quite indecisive. Then the combination of leather and denim material: who would like to wear something between a denim and a leather jacket? Horrid! And finally, the marina peak cap with a chain. Clearly, we certainly want to see men in the streets wearing the same hat as Simona Krainová and other million copycats around the country. After the last three years, this trend is in my opinion simply SHABBY.
