Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz likes to use distinctive patterns and elements in creating her collections. The result of her approach are feminine and elegant pieces full of ruffles, flowers and fresh colors - and the same is true of her exclusive collection for the Swedish fashion chain H&M. The pre-collection in the form of four luxury boho dresses can already be purchased in selected stores or in the e-shop. For the main collection, you'll have to wait a bit longer - it will be released on March 12 next year.
"All the prints draw from my obsession with flowers, palm trees and beautiful colors that surround me every time I look out the window after waking up at home in Cali, in my native Colombia. The influence of Latin America and its unique festive atmosphere is something that can be felt in each of my designs. I am therefore excited that so many women around the world will have a small piece of Colombia in their closet thanks to the cooperation with H&M,"
Johanna Oritz's pre-collection is affordable for everyone, and the price of the dresses ranges between 999 CZK – 1.499 CZK. The collection features 4 very feminine models that are synonymous with Johanna's casual aesthetics - a tunic dress, a wrap dress, a mini dress and a layered maxi dresses.
The collection also boasts four exotic and floral designs from Johanna Ortiz's archives - "Wild Roses", "Orchid Paradise", "Cacatua" and "Coquelicots" - all of which appeared in a new color scheme within the collaboration: yellow, mauve, forest green and a combination of coral with dark brown.
Among the stars who wear models from this talented designer is, for example, Ivanka Trump, who wore the luxurious khaki piece while visiting Colombia. And which alternative will you choose? Elegant khaki, or relaxed boho style?!
