The prestigious film event, frequented by stars from all over the world, has finally began. Who was the star of the red carpet, and who failed miserably despite wearing a piece by a famous designer? Fashion upstream knows!
Choose and compare different opinions:
Divas in satin: Eva Longoria and Elle Fanning
The forty-four year old beauty with exotic looks appears to be nowhere close to her real age. Eva revealed her luxurious figure in a bold satin piece with sequins and a high slit from Italian designer Alberta Ferretti.
The young actress Elle Fanning also went for elegant satin, but she decided for the Gucci workshop. The maxi dress with a flower brooch feels ethereal and tender. This look fits her perfectly!
Araya Alberta Hartage: The Ralph & Russocdress is flawless, but what about the eyebrows?!
In her native Thailand, the stunning brunette Araya Alberta Hartage is an acting and modeling star. We were dazzled by her luxurious tulle robe from Ralph & Russo. Purple suits Araya, and so does the perfect make-up. Next time, thought, she should do something about those eyebrows...
Julianne Moore and Selena Goméz: A bet on minimalism
No long trails or pompousness. Selena Gomez decided to embark on a minimalist journey and reached for a flattering Louis Vuitton dress made up of a skirt and a crop top. What a pleasant change!
The successful actress Julianne Moore chose a dress in a similar spirit. Although she did not give up on a trail, her emerald Dior dress still remains an elegant classic that looks very flattering on the ginger Julianne.
Chloë Sevigny didn’t make the right choice with the Mugler dress
Probably the only truly unflattering model of the festival was worn by American actress Chloë Sevigny. The Mugler dress strangely deformed her chest, and even its classic black-and-white combination couldn’t save the overall look this time.
Victoria's Secret Angels - the icing on the cake!
Victoria's Secret Angels were true luxurious jewels of the opening ceremony. Izabel Goulart and Romee Strijd chose sexy Etro gowns that checked all the boxes, while the “retired angel” Alessandra Ambrosio wore a bohemian Ralph & Russo dress with an asymmetrical cut in snow white and showed that when it comes to dress code, she’s a pro!
Eva Longoria: Watch out, a goddess is approaching!
Eva Longoria’s entrance literally split the crowd. Alberta Ferretti did an excellent job on the amazing, body slimming corset design decorated with sweet pink satin. When I imagine that a few hours before, Eva was wearing an Adidas tracksuit and tousled hair in a messy bob, it feels like a miracle to me!

Elle Fanning: A reincarnation of Evita Peron
Young actress Elle Fanning chose a gorgeous Gucci robe. Her conception reminds me of Evita Peron's clothes, she liked to wear dresses from Dior. That must have been an inspiration for this look! Luxurious satin and a pansy pinned at the waist... It is a pity, though, that the dress turned the twenty-one-year-old girl into a well-preserved forty-five.

Alessandra Ambrosio: The BEST!
The winner of the red carpet fashion show in Cannes is undoubtedly the top model Alessandra Ambrosio. Her Ralph & Russo gown from the SS19 couture collection simply has it all. Whether it's the freshness of a seaside town, sex appeal or perfect harmony of elegance and style. She really looks like a Greek goddess, plus her Boucheron RICOCHET PENDANT earrings are like from a fairy tale!

Romee Strijd: The five centimeter borderline
Romee Strijd has chosen an ultrasexy gown from Etro. The curtain-shaped lace offers a deep neckline and the infinitely long slit ends directly between the legs: the dress itself is nice, but thanks to the slit, which makes it seem rather vulgar, it's more of a faux-pas. Would a sophisticated lady allow herself to be seen in this? I doubt it!
