This is what we call a successful start of the Haute Couture World Fashion Week! The luxury brand Dior was one of the first to introduce its new haute couture collection SS20 and the LP-Life.cz fashion editors were literally blown away. Join us on a journey through time to ancient Greece and Rome or to Great Gatsby's dance floor - let's get the party started!
In these metallic models covered in unbridled fringe, you could easily return to the 1920s and 1930s, hit the dance floor in the Great Gatsby's mansion and get everyone around you a little racy. They're sexy, sophisticated, and we guarantee that if you add stilettos to your dress, the dance floor will be yours!
The antique Boho pieces inspired by ancient Greece and Rome will transport you into the past. A one-shoulder dress, silk edgings, transparent fabrics and luxurious gold elements complemented by Roman sandals conjure up a captivating atmosphere of the ancient world, which has its place even in today's wardrobe - and the SS20 collection will definitely convince you of that.
If someone was holding a gun to our heads, making us choose only one model, on which we wouldn't mind spending our entire paycheck (or maybe five), we would probably voluntarily give up. To lick just one is a superhuman task! But TOP three? Yeah, we can manage that, even if just barely.
And which piece would we rather leave to someone else? The dark green dress with cutouts, which, for whatever reason, we don't enjoy. Is it the color, or the cut à la nightgown? Probably both!
Oh lala... The Dior fashion show was a pleasant surprise, which I honestly hadn't expected. I love antiquity. All things Greco-Roman and mainly gold. And good things come to those who wait! So I can finally dig out the gold accessories I've been hiding for a couple of years now, waiting for them to return to fashion! Thank you, God, here it comes!
I feel like a goddess every time I walk out of the gym. So yeah, you've probably guessed that it doesn't happen very often, even though my New Year's resolution was, naturally, spectacular. January is not over yet and I can say that I've already felt like a goddess at least three times.
Thank goodness for this collection, because now that it's out, I can forget about the gym and just wait for the first rays of sunlight that will allow me to put on one of these models. Such as this gold fringed dress. It don't seem to cover much, but the opposite is true. I just hope I'll manage to create such an antique-looking braid as the one the model has. And I'll go to the solarium beforehand, so that my skin wouldn't look like salt.
I've already picked the model for my wedding this year at Chanel, even though it probably isn't gonna take place because I don't have a groom, but that's a detail, but I plan to wear this dress at the afterparty. When it gets dark, longer sleeves will come in handy. What do you think?
I really enjoy this crimson red. I own a lipstick in this exact color, which means I'm almost ready. I like the long sleeves that cause an optical illusion, just like the model does with her body. Her hips seem to be as wide as hippo's, just like mine. But I believe it's just an optical illusion, caused by the cut of the dress. Which means it's just what I need. I'll be able to say I don't have a giant butt, this gorgeous dress just makes it look that way.
Overall, I have nothing negative to say about the collection, but it is true that I have't checked the price list yet. That might be a stumbling block, because I'll need money mainly for the holiday in Greece, where I intend to show off these dresses.
