Fashion houses are always one step ahead. While the rest of us are getting ready to enjoy the summer, they are already thinking about what to stun us with in the next season. REDValentino, the younger and more playful sister of Valentino that recently presented the Fall 2020 collection to the world, is no exception.
The brand with youthful vigor is characterized by a combination of sophisticated haute couture elements with elements of streestyle fashion. The Italian photographer Dario Catellani therefore set out to capture the essence of the REDValentino girl in an urban environment, softened by the ubiquity of flowers, luxurious tulle and iconic bows. The Fall 2020 campaign is thus a contrasting scenery in which street vibrations collide with extravagant models with the hallmark of rebellious romance.
REDValentino celebrates the coming autumn creatively, extravagantly and with a rebellious mood. How does it reflect on the models? Romantic bows that are the signature piece of the brand are given a more distinctive and eccentric look and they no longer appear only at the waist, as per usual, but primarily in the form of stylish ties at the neck. Bold volumes, fluffy sleeves or maxi ruffles also have a place in the Fall 2020 collection. Soft dresses are presented in combination with biker boots or leopard stockings and checkered patterns or legendary acid-washed jeans with a marble effect also make an appearance.
The eccentric mood also reflects on bold accessories. In addition to the aforementioned biker boots, the collection features for example ankle boots with a touch of lurex or the popular Rock Ruffles bag in an XL version. It's the accessories that gives the outfits a zing, keep that in mind!
The new collection celebrates everyday simplicity, beauty and a very pink mood (yes, sweet pink dominates the collection) as well as feminine power and independence. Here and there, bright and pea green, elegant black or tender white pop up in the collection.
Now that you know what a luxurious spectacle REDValentino has prepared for you, do you already hear your rebellious self calling for self-expression?
